I have two clients, possibly expanding to more, using Windows CE PDA’s. Within our Corporate Infrastructure we use MS Exchange 5.5 SP3 and on each users PC Outlook 2000 is the standard email client. These users all access via Outlook a separate Contacts database to their own personals (called Operations Contacts found under All Public Folders in Outlook) which contains information they share and update collectively.
The question is how can I set up (if possible) the PDA devices to synchronise with this shared Contacts database in preference to the default Personal Contacts?
It would seem reasonable would it not that as these are pitched as business machines that information sharing in this way would be an important feature. Otherwisethe Company would grow and each person would need their personal contacts updated, which will create an Administration nightmare.
