Windows Firewall Domain profile: how much traffic is being used?

hi all. need to redesign the network infrastructure. i’m trying to find out what the traffic load is on a network running Windows firewall\domain profile through GPO. if i have software and port exceptions, how slow will accessing the network be if the user is access a server across town?
