Windows Live OneCare

I have been trying unsucessfully to install Windows Live OneCare on my laptop and PC. Both meet the required performance specs, and run Windows XP Pro, SP3. When installing, I continually get an error message on both machines, and the installation process is aborted. Are there known issues with Windows XP, SP3, and Windows Live OneCare?
