Windows Media Player

Well, just as I got the computer running smooth, it crashed when I loaded the Hulk Game which is above my system requirements! Here I am starting off fresh & new and can?t get the Window Media player to work!

2.1 is the original Media Player on my 98 CD Rom. It?s totally inactive. It won?t acknowledge when a CD is in the drive. The play options are inactive. I updated it to 7.1 twice (then uninstalled) but it will only play in analog mode and it sounds terrible. Not sure if 7.1 is too advanced for my system. My computer is about 3 yrs old. A AMD Anthlon w/128 MB.

I?ve considered another player but since my pocket PC requires Windows Media Player to transfer music to, it?s what I need!
