Windows Media Services – Archiving

Hello everyone –

I have an problem that I need to resolve with some urgency. I hope you all are out there helping the desperate.

I have a couple of Windows Media Server machines running Windows Media Services to broadcast content 24×7. I never experimented much with the Archiving feature but need to be able to do it now.

One of my boxes creates a nice long archive file. The other box, creates several small files that cap out at a certain size (usually bout 2mb).

I can’t find much documentation on how to fix this issue. I scoured the WMS settings and can’t figure it out.

Does anyone have a clue about how to fix this issue?
