Windows not Booting

Last evening, I downloaded a free FTP client called CoreFTP to upload a few files to my web server. There seemed to be a few problems in uploading so many files that the computer showed a blue screen midway. I had to restart the computer to get back to work.

Later, I got the same problem and after I had restarted, I got a message that RPC (I think I saw RPC) will restart the computer in 1 minute.

I was tired and so when the computer shut down, I simply switched the system off.

Now since morning, when I try to switch on the computer, it doesn’t seem to be booting. The only thing I see running is the ‘fan’ on the cabinet.

Any idea what went wrong, and how I am supposed to get the system running?
