More details on previous question posted. I’m looking for a utility that will pop-up a window box on client’s PCs. It should be able to do the following;
1.We want to hit either selected or all employees who are connected to the network. I want this to be program independent. Also, we want to be able to hit IT-standard and non-IT standard systems(Engineering Groups).
2.It is to be used as needed, like in a virus crisis. We want to be able to immediate communicate urgent information – perhaps with something like a link to a Web page for more details on the crisis.
3.It should be able to be used via a wizard that will allow the 24×7 communication specialists to draft messages and “send” the window.
4.The window should only go to employees. We do not want to hit any servers or other computers not serving as workstations/clients.
I don’t believe that windows NT has the ability to perform these functions but, maybe someone is using a third party software that dose.
