Windows Server 03 Active Directory home folders not working for non-admins

by kevinamartin . Updated 17 years, 6 months ago

Hello to all. This is my second post, apparantly I put it in the wrong section. I am trying to setup user folders on our domain controller here. Let me explain what I have done. I installed a RAID 5 drive, H:, and it is ready for data. I setup home folder paths in active directory to \\server\h$\user name. When I browse to the drive on the server, the home folders are created but they do not work when the user logs in nor are they accessable manually browsing to them. When I set this exact path for a domain admin, it works like a charm. I have investigated all persmissions and do not see anything out of the ordinary. This is a brand new company and the network was all setup before I got here so I have never seen this problem before anywhere else. Can anyone give me any insight as to what I can check? Thanks a ton.
