Windows server 2003 Nat router question

by tatepc . Updated 21 years ago

Hello, Im a student who is very new to windows server 2003 (active directory etc…).

For educational purposes I am trying to attain internet access (at home) using 2003 server.

I am behind a comcast 4 port nat router

My router only assigns ip’s between the .10 and and .14 range, however i seem to have been assigned an ip of 192.168.1.02 by default.

Im wanting to experiment with active directory on my home LAN, and would rather not have to purchase additional additional hardware to do to.

Active directory is the only service I have enabled so far since installation.

Internet access DID work ok, before I enabled Active Directory Services.

The installation was complete just a few hours ago.

Thanks!!!
