Windows Server 2008 R2 deleting user icons

I tried to create a GP to redirect the user desktops to their roaming profiles, to replicate the V2 desktop to the V1. Since then the users have experienced WS2008 apparently randomly deleting their desktops.

I reset the GP back to “not configured” but it is still happening.
