Windows Servre 2003 software install problems

I am having a problem installing software that is stored on a network share on after I install SP2 on my Windows 2003 servers. On some servers it seems to work fine. On otheres 1 domain administrator can install software while another domain administrator can not install software. They get the message that Windows can not access the specified device, path or file. You may not have permissions to access the item. This is incorrect because if they log in to a different server that only has SP1 installed they can install software fine. This is not any specific piece of software it is any software. If they copy the install files local they can install the software fine. Something odd is happening after SP2 is installed.
