Windows XP Home Edition Firewall Enough?

I am about to rebuild my system because I have too much garabge on my drive that I can not get rid of. I am currently enabling Windows XP Home Edition Firewall and also run ZoneAlarm Pro 3.0. Besides the fact that ZoneAlarm lets me know what programs are trying to get out, is there any other reason to use it with or instead of the Windows firewall? I know Microsoft has been notorious in their security flaws but I really hate how long it takes for my system to fully load with ZoneAlarm.
