Windows XP Rebooting

I have been running windows XP pro for about 5 months with no problems. Last week my computer started blue screening with an internal_power_error stop message. I tried to go back to a restore point with no luck. I haven’t installed any new Hardware or Software only Critical Updates from MS. I also reinstalled the OS without the Critical updates works for about 3 days and then the Blue Screens again.
