Windows XP Won’t Boot

I have an IBM Thinkpad running XP w/SP2. It previously was configured associated to a domain, I changed the configuration to a Workgroup name, after the reboot I can no longer log into windows with user name or administrator ID. Any help would be beneficial. Thanks, wilson3679
