Hi all, another day in the office…
I have three offices all connection over VPN Links.
Each office uses ranges 10.1.0.1/254, 10.2.0.1/254, 10.3.0.1/254.
They each have DHCP, DNS & WINS.
The DNS is all set up, using secondary zones to replicate the records between site servers with resolution to WINS.
The problem i have is when i try to replicate the WINS using push & pull all the records from the other server get transfered but the DNS starts resolving all the other offices computersas if they were in the office where you did the request from.
I hope this is easy, any problems ask. The description is a bit confused.
Ah, all servers are NT4.
I have thought about using the NETBIOS Scope to limit the DNS resolving recordsfrom other sites incorectly. Is this the correct way?
