Wired LAN and Wireless Internet Connection on same PC

by nazareth2000sg . Updated 17 years, 7 months ago

Hi, I have a PC which is currently connected to a wired LAN (via Novell client 4.91). This PC has a static IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS assigned and is also configured to be a host server for FileZilla 0.9.23 beta.

The problem is, this PC will also need to connect to internet using a wifi dongle (GW-US54Mini2 USB wifi dongle)

If both the wired and wireless connection is enabled, the internet connection is lost. I believe it is the problem with the Wired LAN that is using a DNS and static IP adress.

How is it possible for this PC to connect to internet without disabling the Wired connection, bypassing the wired connection?
