Hi, I’ll try and keep this as short as possible!! We have a domain network, with several servers. We have a DC, which is also a proxy/dns/dhcp server. All clients connect fine, get dhcp, net access via proxy etc.
Now I have a 3com 8250/8750 WAP. Now I connect it to the network, it gets a IP from DHCP. I set the Ip to static via DHCP and config page for WAP.
My problem is I cannot get any wireless clients to access the network via the AP, I can see the wireless network, try connecting with the WEP key, wont issue a IP address to the wireless client.
Will I need to configure ISA 2006 to allow DHCP/DNS to access clients via WAP?
Also there is no entry for the WAP in the DNS console, should I add this manually.
My goal is for visiting clients or staff to use the WAP for internet access only.
Many Thanks for reading all this!!
