Wireless Domain

Hello

I am having an issue with some laptops logging into my domain that are on a wireless connection. For some reason the wireless is not picked up until after the computer boots and unfortunately will then not load the users roaming profile. Is there a way to make the computer pickup the wireless connection before logon? I am using Windows XP Pro and a Netgear WGR614 wireless router
