Wireless, Microsoft PCI Card, SP2 and me

I just wonder if this happen to me only but:

Last year I bougth a Wireless Router and PCI Card (MN-730) both from Microsoft, they have worked fine until SP2. I find a bit disgusting that being all products from Microsoft when I try to install the PCI Card on SP2 one threatening advertisemnt says me that “This product has a known incompatibility with Windows XP SP2”. I?m a Microsoft fanatic (MCP) but these kind of things make me think.

Would you lose some confidence if the company you trust in have these behaviors?.
