wireless network configuration

what will i do to a laptop when i configure it manualy or obtain the Ip adress automaically to use the wirelss network on our server, i was sucessful in connecting one pc and able to browse the internet but the other ones were sucessfully connected after i asigned an IP adress to them manually but cannot browse the internet, and also cannot obtain ip address automatically .
