Wireless Network Equipment

My organisation is into networking. All this while, we have not gone beyond Lan and Dialup access to customers. But they just gave us a VSAT and we intend to in turn link some NGOS. Pls, what are the complete equipment that we need to have on ground to be able to connect such ngos? We would not mind using Radio or other high speed equipment for the transmission. Do we need to have a large earth station dish? Or is it just a base and a mast? Pls, help with the equipment.
