We want to deploy a wireless network in our office. The main purpose is to let the users to access the internet using their laptops. Also we have 10 computers for internet access connected through wired network using proxy server.
I want to use the WRT54G access point for this purpose so that the laptop users can access the internet through a proxy server. Can anyone tell me what is the signal range of this AP. What if more than one AP’s will be required for whole office coverage.
All the AP’s will be connected together using cat5 cable?
Only one AP will be connected to main switch with cat5e cable?
DHCP will be enabled on the AP so that laptops can get ip add?
What will be the network topology?
Please help me in this scenario.
