wireless notebook

I just crashed my computer and when I reinstalled my operating system I have not been able to figure out how to get my wireless internet going again. I have been able to use a cable and log on but it is not registering that I have wireless capablilities. I know my network key and such but I can not search and find wireless networks. Thanks for any help.
