Wireless Router problems with VPN software

I have a new Linksys Wireless-N router that works fine until I tunnel in using AVAYA VPN remote software and get on to my company Intranet. It works but constantly drops and I have to reboot. Like it loses it’s IP address or something, I have an older router and it worked fine.

Any suggestions?
