wireless signal with no internet

Ok. I hope this is an easy answer because I’m been trying to figure this out for 3 hours now. Got a Netgear WGR614v2 wireless router. It is plugged into my company’s LAN. I gets connected wirelessly with an excellent signal but I can’t pull a webpage. I plugged in a Belkin wireless router to the same LAN port and can surf no problem. I changed the settings on the netgear from obtaining an IP automatically and hardcoded a static IP. No go. I can also connect to another router (d-link) here on rpoperty so it’s not my laptop/wireless card/etc. I’m 99 positive it’s something with the netgear router. Any ideas?
