wireless will not browse

Setup 2 computers. first computer is connected cat5 to linksys wireless capable router which is connected to cable modem.
Second computer has wireless linksys pci card.
Initial setup no problems. 1 month later second computer cannot access internet through IE, netscape or AOL broadband.
Second computer with wireless pci>
1. Can ping first computer (192.168.1.100)
2. can ping router (192.168.1.1)
3. Can ping internet (used yahoo.com)
updated IE to most recent service pack.
Security setto low.
Did ipconfig /release then renew.
Attempted access through 2 different networks with same result.
no virus
let me know what i am missing.
