Wirelessly access broadband internet by a Wireless modem and a notebook

Hey people,
Can anyone help me to connect a notebook to a type-2 modem(wireless enabled). I can connect to the net through the modem in my desktop by the username and password provided by my ISP. and i want to connect my notebook at the same time. i think it is possible. Please help.
