With All The Changes To The MCSE Certifi

by steve_cary . Updated 25 years, 11 months ago

I’ve heard two recommendations from IT pros:

1.Those who have yet to take any exams, pros seem to recommend working towards the Win2K track.
2.Those who have already passed 3 of the NT4 exams pros recommend taking the Accelerated Exam to obtain a Win2K cert.

I didn’t know about the certification changes to come when I started taking college classes and the only classes avail. were for the NT track. Now that I’ve passed 067 & spent a ton of time & money getting ready for the other exams before they retire I find out the accelerated exam is 6hrs long and you can only take it once! Therefore, if I fail this exam I would be required to start at ground zero & take all of the Win2K core exams on top of the NT4 exams that I just passed, am I crazy to think I can learn Win2K & pass just after learning NT or is this an achievable goal? Or should I consider the time spent studying & working with NT4 knowledge learned & switch gears now, not take any more of the NT4 exams and start learning Win2K?
