WMP

Windows Media Player fails to detect my Pioneer DVD RW DVR 105 CD Burner when I try to burn songs I downloaded from Wal Mart.I go into device Manager and it says the device is working properly.I’ve tryed uninstalling and reinstalling the drive so maybe WMP will see the burner but to no avail.Microsofts knoledge base had no articals in reguards to this topic.Why does WMP fail to detect my burner?
