My client has 100 personnel forms in MS WORD. They wish to publish them electronically, and automate the routing. These forms must contain list boxes with valid selections based on the user’s department or manager, etc.
Example: A software installation request. If the dollar amount is big enough it requires approval from the immediate superior, IT Director and Purchasing Mgr.
Each client has IE5, WORD 97 and Outlook 98. I would like to leverage these client tools in the solution. Should I use SQL Server and IIS, or Exchange public folders? I’d like to chew the fat with someone who has actually done this.
