Workgroup profiles Migration to Domain ?

Hi

I have a client who is moving from a Workgroup environment to a Domain (SBS 2011 & Exchange 2010) with all new desktops.
I need to move/migrate their documents, outlook files to the server, I have used Windows File Transfer when I moved profiles from pc to another in a workgroup environment can I use WFT when moving from a Workgroup to Domain or is there a alternative method?
