In one of the networks we are administrating, we use WSS 3.0 on an SBS server. Everything went fine until a week or two ago, when everything went terribly wrong.
The main problem is that WSS 3.0 is generating two huge log files – both over 2GB. When we deleted them, they’ll be replaced after 2 minutes or so.
We were told to shut down the reporting / log services of WSS 3.0, but the thing is that WSS 3.0 has been down for a week…
So, how can we stop the creating of these log files? The server permanently runs out of disk space and it’s stopping us from dealing with the real problem!
