WSS 3.0

Hi guys,

AM setting up a sharepoint enviroment in our office. We currently dont use an exchange server. Our emails are currently hosted independtly.

Is it at all possible to configure sharepoint to allow the email functionality to work using our current email setup.

I would be grateful for any suggestions or ideas.
