WSSv3 – Moving the DB to a SQL server

I have installed Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 onto a Windows 2003 SP1 server. (single server install). I am looking to move the database onto our full SQL 2000 SP4 server so the SQL Server can run the DB. I know that the DB files for WSSv3 are stored under C:\windows\sysmsi\SSEE. (my specific DB files are located under {c:\WINDOWS\SYSMSI\SSEE\MSSQL.2005\MSSQL})

I am not a DBA but I am not a novice when it comes to SQL. Is there a way to move the DB from the “Windows Desktop Engine” into SQL. I don’t know if I have to change anything in the Central Administration page of WSSv3. Also will I have to reconfigure anything for IIS?
