WSUS 3.0 RC and Win 2k Server

We are considering and upgrade from WSUS 2.0 to WSUS 3.0 RC. Does anyone know if we can run this on the Win2k Server it is currently on? I can only find this from MS http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserversystem/updateservices/evaluation/sysreqs.mspx

This was published in 2005 and therefore not
specifically for WSUS 3.0. We can’t afford to upgrade the operating system to Win 2k3.

Update-

We have went ahead with this project and WSUS 3.0 does work with Win2k SPK4.
