XP Crashed

Ok, my XP professional crashed. I get a message that says “windows could not start because the following file is missin gor corrupt: system32/Drivers/Ntfs.sys you can attempt tp repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the orignal Setup CD-ROM. Selet ‘r’ at the first screen to start repair.

So, I put in the original CD and it won’t boot from the CD…it goes straight to the same message every time and I can never get to that screen where I need to press ‘r’.

Any help out there????
