XP Frequently Used Programs List Doesn’t Work

Have just used MRU-Blaster on 2 accounts and the MFU program list on the XP start menu is blank (what I expected) but now doesn’t add programs when I use them. Have cleared list, reset, changed # of programs all under StartMenu\properties\customize & checked to see that there are no keys under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENT VERSION\POLICIES\EXPLORER. This featuer works for other users on this machine. How do I re-enable it?
