Ive got a great challenge for you all,
Originaly this was my problem.
Running Xp Pro etc.
Icons would not move as in drag around desktop or drag and drop ito another windows ie copy paste. For example if you pasted a icon onto the desktop it would stay where the mouse was when you right clicked paste. not only this but occasionally the mouse wouldnt click on anything so you would have to ctr alt del and then magically the mouse would work an d you could not chage dektop pictures or even acess the desktop tab in display propeties. tried registry changes registry programs is uniblue etc spent hours cleaning ati virus, checking services.msc checking the group permissions all the basic as in auto align etc. etc nothinng special to report as nothing helped so as a last resort i tried a fresh install.
Fully formated drive, started from scratch.
Re installed windows xp home this time.
Guess what its does excatly the same thing.
See i thought mmm maybe hardware problem so tested it with different mice keyboards display etc have almost decided to turn it into an artifical reef.
Now im definetly not an expert but can just about do anything on microsft platforms, does anyone have anyidea why it would do this? or does anyone need an artifical reef off te coast lol 😉
