XP Laptop Opening drive(C,D) asking for program

Hi,

I have a laptop with XP OS and Macafee 7.0 Virus scan installed in it. When I open or double click on any drive C or D. It is asking for selection of program to open. It should open drive immediately. when i try open drive using explorer same thing happens. I know this has happen due to some virus attack. My macfee is upto date but it is not catching this virus. Can any one give me an idea which virus it is and where to find tool or how to remove it. I do not want to formate OS because it has japanes version of OS and I do not understand this language well.
