5 workstations on a windows 2003 network with cable modem, netgear router, cisco switch.
One workstation has connection problems, four work fine.
One minute the workstation in question has connectivity to the network and the internet, the next it is all alone and the only solution I?ve found is to reboot the computer, it always comes back connected to both.
The other workstations work fine never loss connectivity to internet or network.
The router, switch and network card have been replaced the problem continues.
When connectivity is lost I can?t ping any device on the network including the router or server from the dropped computer.
Nor can any device ping the computer that?s dropped connectivity, but they can see every other device.
I have tried all that I can think of to resolve this issue. Software, hardware and connections are all the same on each workstation, all worked fine until about a month ago now this one is giving me a head ache.
Someone please give me some advice I don?t know which way to turn.
Thanks,
Bruce
