XP Says No wireless network found in range

by kiscollc . Updated 16 years, 5 months ago

I just bought a used Fujitsu N6010 Lifebook. I am trying to connect to my home network. My router is a NetGear WPN824v2 wireless. I have another laptop and a desktop on the network and they work fine. Fujitsu works when hard wired. When I try to connect to wireless network I get “no wireliss network found in range. I am 2 feet from router at this point. When I look at Network Connection/wireless network connection/properties and go to Wireless Network tab it list the network. I am WEP and make sure the SSID (Kisco) properties are correct. However, when I highlight the SSID and click on View wireless networks. I just come back to the same error message.
