Yahvox (Yahoo voice chat) won’t work behind a network firewall

I am using an application called Yahelite, with a module for voice chat called Yahvox. I am behind a network firewall at university that won’t let me connect to voice servers. I have no problem connecting to normal text servers, but voice will not work. The only software I was able to achieve connectivity for yahvox was “surfnolimits” which I think used http tunneling of some kind. Can anyone help me bypass the firewall so I can voice chat.

Yahelite is a Yahoo chat client and yahvox is a module that allows a person to voice chat.

Any help would be appreciated.
