Re Norton.
Having had to remove Norton and its live update on various computers in the past due to the program hogging resources, installing root kits, then allowing viruses to proliferate there making them untouchable, I would recommend to all “Dont go there”
The corporation that is so smug that it tells Microsoft it can “go alone” and creates problems for its users has the arrogance of your most hated enemy.
Its the same arrogance that allows it to think it is smarter than anyone else in the bloated software it writes.
Its time to understand that machine language is the only language that anti virus software should be written in. The crap that is coming from so many anti virus companies needs to be written that way so viruses can be genuinely eliminated.
It is fast and works, unfortunately not many people are able to do so these days it seems.
