I am attempting to set up a set of policies (i.e. 95 Desktop Preferences, 95 User System Policies), and the such and associate it with particular users and groups of users. I have been able to set up the 95 User System Policies pretty easily and get them to work successfully, but when I attempt to set the “95 Desktop Preferences” (in particular specifying “No Wallpaper” or/and “No Screen Saver”), the wallpaper and screen saver are not set to “none” as I have specified as part of the policy package.
Only after I specify a wallpaper file (i.e. BMP file), does the screen saver portion of the policy work and sets the wallpaper to that file. This is how I know that the policy is at least being recognized.
Why is it that when I set the display options for either “Background” or/and “Screen Saver” to the “None” option for each in the policy package, it does not work (I still get wallpaper or/and screen savers that were set prior to the policy package being implemented).
Am I doingsomething wrong or am I not setting something correctly? Any help would be greatly apprecaited.
