Cracking Open HP Envy 14 Spectre: NFC module - Top

I'd actually like to read it.

So, I'm an HP "Fan." As it were, at least so far as their enterprise hardware goes. It's not the best deal for the money, but I know when I call HP, I'm getting a solid piece of hardware, a good bios and good service.

In regards to their consumer line, I've always thought the Envy was overpriced, and am in total agreement with you. The only way I can make a justification for it is based on experience with comparables. To be perfectly honest, if you're shopping in the major brand spectrum, your options are Dell or HP, and if I were to do a pound for pound and dollar for dollar comparison of their offerings I'd come to the conclusion that HP always produces better products.

That being said, I'd only buy HP in a vacuum. Asus does most of its manufacturing in-house (via pegatron), less foxconn on average than anyone else so they're my first option.

This one shows that HP still knows how to build solid computers. And the ex-CEO wanted the company to get out of the computer making and selling business? It's good they retired him real fast. I hope they are designing a second-gen, maybe even third-gen tablet in their labs.

Did you see that there is space for a second SSD?
