16 ( 0r ) 2 colors

I have checked my onboard video, and had no errors, but I can only choose 16 / 2 colors.
I have also updated the driver, I have updated to win 98 from 95, and everything works fine excepts the color settings.
I removed the device and driver and reinstalled………..???????????
Please Help
