this is a reply to the three answers i received the last question thank you it was very helpful .But,not the isp. and not sharing or,certain programs .I lose time on the comp. tha actual time clock slows down!! I cant figure it out its been doing it for a long period of time too.i have contacted manuf.and coducted sytem restore,i have deleted a bunch of programs that i dont use i dont try to boot up without many apps firsthand and i dont have mcaffee or a firewall. but it is not consistent with four hours it varies on time frame and i am in use the whole time no hibernate or stand by here full 8 hrs. on this comp.surfing rom site to site and opening pages sometimes slow load and then not too.other times it gives me anywhere from kernel errors to rundle to http errors,and a few others i forget but since system restore not as bad but still does it i have to reboot several times in a shift. i am on cable modem with local cable co.i have close to 73%avavilable in ramor memory whichever you call it.
