Access Database Development

Up front please excuse my spelling, I know it is bad.
I work in a multi version enviroment, and spend a lot of time converting databases from one version to another (2000, 97) and dealing with the miscelaneous problems inherient with designing in two different versions.
Other than making all have the same version, any helpful suggestions out there?
