ActiveSynch

When I synchronise tasks between a desktop (Win2000) and a PocketPC (Toshiba310) using ActiveSynch and Outlook2002 some of the tasks which I changed on the desktop don’t show on the handheld. Is there some way of forcing synchronisation of a particular task?
