Adapted easy cd 5 vs wpi cdrw

I have just installed roxios easy cd creator 5 platinum, i am using a wpi-wearnes cdrw4424 drive. Every time i try to burn, i get a calibration error. What are best cd-r’s to use with this drive, and is there any other way of stopping this from happening?
